Rosemary trained at Clarendon College in Nottingham to become a qualified Chef in the 80’s. She ran her own successful restaurant south of Lincoln for a number of years and then moved into the teaching profession. She spent many years teaching at a further education college, passing on her skills both in cooking, restaurant management and front of house service. At the same time she further developed her own teaching and presentation skills and gained qualifications for teaching. Rosemary’s passion has always been the AGA since helping her granny cook on one at the family farm when she was very small. On moving into the farmhouse where she now lives with husband Peter and children Edward and Alice, she became the proud owner of an AGA for the first time and started the business of running demonstrations from home. The AGA has subsequently been upgraded to a 4 oven version and the farmhouse facilities expanded to make it more suitable for demonstrations. If you wish to organise your own event, Rosemary will travel to put on a demonstration in your kitchen provided you have sufficient space and are able to bring together a suitable size group. The usual arrangement is for the host to organise an event for a charity and charge friends and acquaintances to come to a cookery demonstration in aid of that charity. The group will watch a two hour demonstration of at least 3 courses and are provided with information on the recipes and methods. Guests all sample the prepared dishes and are able to purchase any of the cookware used or sold by Rosemary. A percentage of the sales will be donated by Rosemary to the charity. The arrangement is very flexible and can be tailored to your preference, for example numbers from to 8 to 20, menus of your choice and special themes. Over the years Rosemary has helped raise substantial amounts for numerous charities including NSPCC, Red Cross, WoW, Anna’s Hope, Jo’s Trust, Lifeboats, Macmillan, Barnados and many more.
Please call Rosemary to discuss your particular requirements. |
